He was the youngest of five children born to Webber and Inez (Hunt) Rubart. Donald graduated from Madison High School in 1952. He was a Veteran with service in the Navy from 1954-1959. Donald Clayton Rubart passed away at his home in Las Cruces, New Mexico on September 9, 2006.Donald was born at Madison, Kansas on July 19, 1935. He was the youngest of five children born to Webber and Inez (Hunt) Rubart. Donald graduated from Madison High School in 1952. He was a Veteran with service in the Navy from 1954-1959. He graduated from Kansas University in 1961. He retired from work in a V A Hospital in Battle Creek, Michigan in 1995 and moved to Las Cruces to enjoy his retirement. Donald enjoyed his work with the Boy Scouts of America and liked to work on the family genealogy. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Las Cruces and served as an elder in the church. Survivors include two sisters: Mary Sanchez of Kansas City, Missouri, Charlotte Mueller of Lawrence, Kansas, and one brother: Perry Rubart of Ulysses, Kansas. He was preceded in death by one sister, Ethel McGhee and his parents Webber and Inez Rubart. Memorial services will be at the First Presbyterian Church, Las Cruces at 11:00 am, Wedeneday, September 13, 2006. Graveside services and interment will be at the family plot in Blakley Cemetery at Madison, Kansas. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of services at Madison. PDF Printable Version
