Doris L. Miller, 81, of Las Cruces died May 14, 2007 at Mountain View Regional Hospital. She was born in Roswell , New Mexico to Robert and Annie Cunningham on December 14, 1925 . Doris was a dedicated wife, loving Mother and adoring Grandmother and Great and Great-great Grandmother. Doris L. Miller, 81, of Las Cruces died May 14, 2007 at Mountain View Regional Hospital. She was born in Roswell , New Mexico to Robert and Annie Cunningham on December 14, 1925 . Doris was a dedicated wife, loving Mother and adoring Grandmother and Great and Great-great Grandmother. She was a sweet and private woman who was unwavering in love, her friendships, and her opinions. She loved to garden, make Christmas candy for her family, and work crossword and jigsaw puzzles. We will miss her every day of our lives. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Miller. She is survived by daughters Betty Merritt and husband Bobby of Las Cruces, Terri Barnes and husband Norv of Silver City, Kathi Henderson and husband Steve of Bloomfield, and son Mickey Miller and wife Janice of Albuquerque, sister Jessie Jones of Silver City, grandchildren Robin, Kristi, Kenneth, Mike, Greg, Bryce, Amanda, Kara, Kristen, Kandyce, Jeremy, Amber and Stephen. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Serving as casket bearers will be her grandsons Kenneth Merritt, Mike Miller, Greg Miller, Bryce Barnes, Jeremy Henderson and Stephen Henderson. A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at Getz Funeral Home from 5-7 PM with private family services to follow on Wednesday. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery.
