Douglas J. Hisey, 62, of Las Cruces, NM passed away Thursday, August 10, 2006. He was a veteran of the US Marines where he served his country honorably during the Vietnam Era. Douglas J. Hisey, 62, of Las Cruces, NM passed away Thursday, August 10, 2006. He was a veteran of the US Marines where he served his country honorably during the Vietnam Era. He was a man of diverse experience and talents and will be sorely missed. His brother David P. Hisey, M.D. and wife Lexa of Tucson, AZ; sister, Joanne L. Achen of Las Cruces, NM; his brother Allan J. Hisey and wife Janet of Albuquerque, NM; and his brother-in-law, Howard M. Achen, D.D.S. of Las Cruces, NM, survive Douglas. Also surviving Douglas are his nieces Carrie Achen and Lauren Ogle and her husband Justin; his nephews Todd Hisey and wife Laura and their daughter Alexa Hisey, Brad Hisey, Andrew Hisey, and Scott Achen. Private graveside services will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mesilla Valley Hospice (La Posada) 299 E.
