Douglas Maness, 86 of Las Cruces, died Friday at Village of Northrise. He was a member of Dona Ana Daylight Lodge #78 AF & AM, Scottish Rite where he was a 32 degree Mason, member Las Cruces Shrine Club where he was Past President. He was the former owner of Sunny Acres Mobile Home Village. He is survived by two sons Dr.James D and wife Robbie of Waco, TX, Terry D and wife Rena of Albuquerque, NM, one daughter Mary Bales of Erie CO, Two sisters Bill Owen of Portales, NM and Imogene Johnson of Lovington, NM. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandchildren and long time friend Jean Armstrong of Las Cruces. Visitation for Mr. Maness will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Monday Nov.24, 2008 at Getz Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 2:30 PM Tuesday Nov. 25, at Getz Funeral Home Chapel.
