Earl Harold Hathorn passed away peacefully at his home in Las Cruces, on Wednesday, July 15, 2009. His beloved wife of 63 years, Dawn, was by his side. He was a native New Mexican, born in Alamogordo, New Mexico, May 5, 1922. He is preceded in death by his parents: Irvin and Maggie Hathorn, his brother Henry Hathorn, and his two sisters: Pearl Bailey and Opal Sheppard. He has one remaining sister, Ruby Steele of Comanche, Texas. In addition to his wife Dawn of the home, he is survived by his three daughters, Donna Andersen and son-in-law, Gary Andersen of Las Cruces; Niki Hathorn of Alamogordo and Natalie Hathorn of Albuquerque.
