Eddie Lopez Garcia, 61, of Las Cruces died Monday Feb. 28, 2011. He was born Dec. 19, 1949 in Las Cruces to Ricardo and Louisa Lopez Garcia. Eddie retired after 37 years of faithful service from the Jornada Experimental Range U.S.D.A. He enjoyed the outdoors and working on vintage cars. Eddie Lopez Garcia, 61, of Las Cruces died Monday Feb. 28, 2011. He was born Dec. 19, 1949 in Las Cruces to Ricardo and Louisa Lopez Garcia. Eddie retired after 37 years of faithful service from the Jornada Experimental Range U.S.D.A. He enjoyed the outdoors and working on vintage cars. Eddie will be deeply missed by all his family and friends who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Brenda Garcia of the family home; daughter Crystal Garcia (Diana Valdez), twin sons Thomas (Veronica Sepulveda) and T.J. Garcia all of Las Cruces; grandchildren Tori, Thomas II and Katrina Garcia, Mason and Alexis Lewallen all of Las Cruces; siblings Sonny Garcia and wife Anna of El Paso, TX, Johnny Garcia and wife Kathy and Flora Castillo all of Las Cruces. Also surviving him are numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother Ricky Garcia.
