Edward E. Acosta, 56, of Mesilla, NM died Monday December 14 2011. He was born on July 11, 1955 in Carlsbad NM to Eugene and Carolina Acosta. Edward worked for Memorial Medical Center for 28 years and lived in Mesilla NM. Edward's hobbies included golf, cooking and making people laugh. Edward is survived by his mother, Carolina, sisters, Virginia, Lena, Loyola, Jackie and numerous nieces and nephews. Edward is also survived by his sons Delano, Ramon, Danny and wife Christina, grandchildren Julian, Michael, Adam, Alexander and Nicholas. Edward is remembered by everyone whose life's he touched and helped in their time of need. A visitation will will be held at Getz Funeral Home on Friday December 16, 2011, at 5:00 pm with the Rosary to follow at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held Saturday December 17, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Getz Funeral Home with burial to follow at San Albino Cemetery in Mesilla, NM. PDF Printable Version
