Edward (Eddie) Rosales Perea, 55, of Las Cruces, New Mexico died Wednesday, June 25, 2014. He was born January 8, 1959 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Eddie was born January 8, 1959 at Memorial General Hospital to Evangelisto (Leto) Perea and Elisa R. Alderete. Edward (Eddie) Rosales Perea, 55, of Las Cruces, New Mexico died Wednesday, June 25, 2014. He was born January 8, 1959 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Eddie was born January 8, 1959 at Memorial General Hospital to Evangelisto (Leto) Perea and Elisa R. Alderete. Eddie attended local schools here in Las Cruces and eventually left to serve our great nation by enlisting in the United States Army. He had many hobbies including crafts, fishing with friends, camping and going to yard and estate sales. Eddie was also a dedicated New York Giants Fan. Eddie is survived by one son, Daniel Duran of Santa Fe, NM; mother, Elisa Alderete of Las Cruces, NM; sister, Carmen (Perea) Espinoza of Santa Fe, NM; brothers, Van Perea (Evangelisto Jr.) of El Paso, TX and Richard Perea (Ricky) of Las Cruces, NM as well as eight loving nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his father, Evangelisto Perea and sister, Dolores Padilla. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 9:00 AM at Getz Funeral Home.
