Elias T. Alderete

Elias T. "Notie" Alderete, 74, of Las Cruces died Thursday July 26, 2007. He was born May 11, 1933 in Las Cruces to Elias and Isabel Tome Alderete. Elias was a retired Sr. Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force where he served his country honorably for over 28 years. He also had retired after many yeas of faithful service from the City of Las Cruces. Elias had been a life member of VFW Post #3242, American Legion Post #10, DAV Chapter 10, Vietnam Veterans of America Council 431, Korean War Veterans and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He always had a smile and helping hand for anyone in need. Notie will be deeply missed by all his family and many friends who knew and loved him.
