Elijah Malik Cotton, infant son of Ronald Cotton and Victoria Trejo died Monday, January 5, 2009 in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He was born October 20, 2008 in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Though Elijah's time with us wasn't long, he filled our hearts with joy and love everyday. Elijah is survived by his parents, his grandparents, Sandra Madrid of Las Cruces, NM; Mr. and Mrs. Cotton of Delaware; aunt, Lorraine Trejo of Las Cruces, NM; uncle, Danny Valdez of El Paso, TX; great-grandparents, Luis and Betty Aldaco of El Paso, TX; and great-great grandparents, Jose and Aurelia Holguin of Las Cruces, NM. A visitation will be held from 1 to 1:45 pm on Monday, January 12, 2009 at Getz Funeral Home. Graveside Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Deacon Lou Roman of Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral, officiating.
