Elina C. Reyes 72 of Las Cruces, NM died Monday June 13, 2011. She was born to Melecio and Guadalupe Cantu on January 11, 1939 in Los Indios, TX. Elina, known as the favorite Aunt to her family enjoyed traveling and see what different parts of the country had to offer. She had a passion for dancing and was a Tia to everyone she met. Elina C. Reyes 72 of Las Cruces, NM died Monday June 13, 2011. She was born to Melecio and Guadalupe Cantu on January 11, 1939 in Los Indios, TX. Elina, known as the favorite Aunt to her family enjoyed traveling and see what different parts of the country had to offer. She had a passion for dancing and was a Tia to everyone she met. Her true love was seeing the smiles on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's faces. Elina is survived by her sons Rafael Reyes and wife Stephanie and Rudy Reyes all of Las Cruces, Russ Reyes and wife Vivian of Beaumont, CA and Ramon Reyes of Las Vegas, NV; daughters Linda Montelongo and husband Greg and Patricia Soto and husband Oscar all of Las Cruces. Also surviving her are her 17 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Memorial Services to celebrate her life will be 11:00 am on Monday June 20, 2011 at Getz Funeral Home with Adam Cantu officiating.
