Elizabeth Abbott, 81, of Las Cruces, died Friday, March 14, 2008. She was born Oct. 17, 1926 in Grandin, North Dakota to Mr. And Mrs. Elliott. Elizabeth was co-owner along with her late husband Bob of Turner Electric of Las Cruces. She had been a member of the Civil Air Patrol and a member of Sigma Beta Phi. Elizabeth Abbott, 81, of Las Cruces, died Friday, March 14, 2008. She was born Oct. 17, 1926 in Grandin, North Dakota to Mr. And Mrs. Elliott. Elizabeth was co-owner along with her late husband Bob of Turner Electric of Las Cruces. She had been a member of the Civil Air Patrol and a member of Sigma Beta Phi. Mrs. Abbott will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends who knew and loved her. She is survived by her children Edward Vent and wife Maria of Las Cruces, Susan Ponds and husband Rick of Ft. Walton Beach FL and Joyce Guthrie of Las Cruces. Also surviving her are her nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Bob and her parents. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at Getz Funeral Home with Chaplain Charles Moorer officiating. PDF Printable Version
