Emma V. Arriola, 68 of Las Cruces, New Mexico died Friday, February 9, 2007 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center. She was born July 8, 1938 in Ysleta, Texas to Juan and Maria Vasquez. Emma was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband David Arriola of Las Cruces, NM; three sons, David Arriola Jr. and his wife Boonma of El Paso, TX; Henry Arriola of El Paso, TX; and Charlie Arriola of Nebraska. One brother, Ismael Vasquez of Los Angeles, CA, and two sisters, Aurora DeLaHay of Los Angeles, CA and Velia Ojada of West Covina, CA; Also surviving Emma are 11 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Monday, February 12, 2007 at Getz Funeral Home Chapel where the Prayer Vigil will follow at 7 PM. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 10 AM on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Our Lady of Health Catholic Church, 1178 N. Mesquite, Las Cruces.
