Erasmo Lujan, also known as "Russ", or "Razz", 68 of Las Cruces, NM passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Mesilla Valley Hospice, La Posada. He was born November 5, 1941 in McAllen, Texas to Eduardo and Carmen Juarez Lujan. Russ served his country honorably in The United States Air Force and was retired from the United States Postal Service. Razz was also a member of El Calvario...
Erasmo Lujan, also known as "Russ", or "Razz", 68 of Las Cruces, NM passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Mesilla Valley Hospice, La Posada. He was born November 5, 1941 in McAllen, Texas to Eduardo and Carmen Juarez Lujan. Russ served his country honorably in The United States Air Force and was retired from the United States Postal Service. Razz was also a member of El Calvario United Methodist Church and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by one daughter, Carmen Margarita Embry; four brothers, Edward Lujan, Eleazar Lujan, Eliseo Lujan and Efraim Lujan. Also surviving his are Eunice Helmbrecht and two grandchildren, Autumn Grace Gardner and Madison Shane Gardner. Erasmo was preceded in death by his daughter Monserate Christina Lujan and his sister, Elisama Embry. At his request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service to celebrate his life will be at 10 am on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at El Calvario United Methodist Church, 300 N.
