Our dearest beloved husband, father, son and brother, Esteban David Diaz entered eternal life on Thursday, October 23, 2008. Steve as he was fondly known was born June 30, 1973 in Las Cruces, NM. Steve had been a resident of Phoenix for the last six years and was employed by Lowes Home Improvement Center. He was also a member of the Power of Love Christian Fellowship Church and was a very giving and generous person with a great sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Marissa Diaz; his three sons Jacob Diaz, Brandon Diaz and Joshua Diaz, his mother Rosie Diaz companion James Zapien, his father Alfredo R. Cano, brother Ernesto R. Diaz and wife Rebecca, sisters Elizabeth A Diaz, Alvenita C. Cano, and Bernadette C. Cano, Paternal Grandparent Manuel-Librada Diaz. Nephews, Ernesto III, Reyes, Ray III, Kenaniah, Peter III, Dominic, Isaac, Kevin, Josiah and Adrian. Nieces, Aleeka, and Brittany. In-laws David and Margie Enriquez, Brother-in-law Adrian Enriquez (Desiree), Sister-in-law Jennifer Mata (Isaac), numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Marcos S. Cardenas and Grandmother Felipa P. Cardenas. A gathering of family and friends will be from 4 to 6 pm on Friday, October 31, 2008 at Getz Funeral Home.
