Faustino B. Zamora (Grandpa Tino) 86, passed away peacefully in his home accompanied by his loving family on September 11, 2013. Faustino was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico on July 29, 1927 to Jose Zamora and Sara Barela. He had three brothers Lino, Efren and Johnny and sisters Amelia and Celia. He was a decorated WWII veteran. He served in the US Army. He also retired from Safeway after working many years. He was a great man with a beautiful soul. He was the kind of person that would take the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. Even in his last day he helped everyone. He loved spending time with his family, gardening and going to the casino. He will be missed and will always remain in our hearts. Faustino is survived by his loving wife Maria Zamora of 43 years and 4 sons; Joe Damian Zamora and his two daughters Amanda and Jennifer. Son; Manuel Lorenzo Olivas and his daughter Lupita. His son Armando Puentes and his 3 sons Orlando, Billy, Lucky, and 2 daughters Brianna and Ami. His son Robert Zamora, his two sons Joseph and Dominic and daughter Loreniah. His Daughter; Maria Olivas and her sons Joey, Lorenzo, and Samuel and two daughters Monica and Josie. His daughter Ramona Zamora and her two daughters Isabelle and Sorina. His daughter Sara Zamora and her five sons Martin, Michael, Luis, Eloy and Christopher. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Jose and Sara Zamora, and brother Lino, and sister, Amelia. Visitation for Faustino will be on Monday September 16, 2013 at Getz Funeral Home from 6-7 pm, where a prayer vigil will follow at 7 pm, Funeral services will be 10 am Tuesday September 17, 2013 at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church 100 S. Espina, and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery where he will be laid to rest. Serving as pallbearers will be his sons, Joe Damian and Robert, his grandsons, Joey, Lorenzo, Samuel, Martin, Joseph, and Michael.
