Felicidad O. Chatterton

Felicidad O. Chatterton, 77 of Las Cruces, NM went to be with her heavenly father on Saturday October 20, 2012. She was born to Ulysses Ortega and Anna Maria Taylor on July 20, 1935 in Boquete, Panama. Felicidad was a devoted catholic putting many years as a Eucharist minister. She was a very loving, caring wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. Felicidad always put the care and wellbeing of her family friends and others first. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and love her. Felicidad is survived by her husband of 57 years Charles W. Chatterton of Las Cruces, NM, sons, Bill Chatterton and wife Gloria of Cocoa, FL, Charles and wife Chris of Las Cruces, NM, Edward Chatterton of Las Cruces, NM and Robert Chatterton of St. Louis, MO, daughter Nancy Prince and husband Mark of Las Cruces, NM. She is also survived by her sisters Gabriela Mercado, Alicia and Berta Taylor, 20 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Felicidad was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on October 24, 2012 at Getz Funeral Home, with Fr. Ray Flores as celebrant.
