Felipa S. Soto "Lipa", 58, of Las Cruces, died Tuesday, April 9, 2013. She was born on May 26, 1954 in Villa Hidalgo, Durango, Mexico to Bernardo and Leonarda Soto. Felipa was a very cheerful person, loved to be with her family, and always willing to help everyone. She enjoyed cooking, music and always had lots of friends. She worked as a sales associate at Wal-Mart for many years and also was a caregiver for Ambercare. She was a member of the Catholic Church. She is survived by her parents, brothers: Eligio Soto and wife Patricia Soto, Lorenzo Soto and wife Leticia Soto, sisters: Maria de Jesus Samaniego and husband Jesus Vaquera, Sanjuana Soto and husband Eduardo Corchado, Miriam Soto and husband Jorge Flores, and many nephews, nieces, cousins which she loved so much. Felipa is preceded in death by loved Cousin Marcos O'hagan on October 4th 2010. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 15, 2013 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm followed by a rosary at 7:00 pm at Getz Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be on April 16, 2013 at 10:00 am at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Eligio Soto Sr., Lorenzo Soto, Eligio Soto Jr., Eduardo Corchado, Cruz Holguin, and Jesus Vaquera. PDF Printable Version
