Felix P. Mancha, 80 of Las Cruces died September 17, 2013. He was born July 9, 1933 to Felix S. and Epifania Mancha in Las Cruces, NM. Felix served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He attended trade school for auto mechanics at Dona Ana Branch Community College. Felix was a truck driver for many years and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids. He was known as the type of person to offer the shirt off his back to anyone and was most kind and generous. He loved his family dearly and was loved completely in return. Felix is survived by his son Jose F. Mancha and wife Minerva; son Richard G. Mancha and wife Mary Esther; son Frank G. Mancha; son Ruben G. Mancha; daughter Bertha Wilson Guerrero; daughter Debbie Gonzalez and daughter Laura Wilson Mancha. Felix is also survived by his Brothers and Sisters Cristina Mancha Medina, Mary Mancha Ruiz, Isabel Mancha Rosales, Porfirio Mancha, Margaret Mancha Robles, Frank Mancha, Joseph Mancha and Teresa Mancha Martinez. Felix is also survived by his grandchildren; Jaime Luis Mancha, Sean A. Castillo, Vanessa Rae Mancha, Felicia M. Esparza and Tony Perez. Felix is also survived by his great grandchildren; Mateo Jose Esparza, Jalen Luv Casanova Mancha, Carissa Cadena, Ava Cadena and Gianna Cadena Velasquez. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Florencia Sanchez and wife Dora W. Mancha. Visitation for Felix will be held Friday September 20, 2013 at Getz Funeral Home from 5-7 pm, where a prayer vigil will follow immediately at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday September 21, 2013, at The Cathedral of Immaculate Heart of Mary at 1240 S. Espina and burial will follow immediately at St Josephs Cemetery.
