Frances Mutchnik, 74, of Las Cruces, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013. Fran as she was fondly known was born Aug. 17, 1938 Brooklyn, New York to Alex and Esther Handelsmen Freemerman. Frances Mutchnik, 74, of Las Cruces, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013. Fran as she was fondly known was born Aug. 17, 1938 Brooklyn, New York to Alex and Esther Handelsmen Freemerman. Fran enjoyed playing cards with her friends, was involved with the Munson Center, liked the outdoors working in her garden and was a member of the Book Club, but her passion was for her family. She will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her two sons Andy Mutchnik and wife Tammy and Scott Mutchnik all of Las Cruces; two daughters Faith Mutchnik and Stephanie Jones and husband Dave all of Albuquerque, NM; brother Ron Freemerman and wife Margie of North Carolina; granddaughters Kayla and Hannah and by her great-grandchild Tyler. Also surviving her is her companion and best friend Mitzy her pet dog. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Lewis Mutchnik. At her request cremation will take place and her remains will laid to rest next to her loving husband Lewis Mutchnik at Hillcrest Cemetery on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 at 11 am. PDF Printable Version
