Francisco Aguirre O., 75 of Arrey, NM died Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center. "Don Panchito" as he was affectionately known was born on April 2, 1931 in Rio Florido, Chihuahua, Mexico to Jose and Inocenta Aguirre. An Arrey area resident for about the last 50 years, he was retired after 27 years from Price's Black Dairy. "Don Panchito" was a longtime coach of little league baseball and was a member of the Catholic Church. Most recently he ran a fruit and vegetable stand in Arrey. Don Panchito is survived by his wife Aurora; five sons, Ruben Aguirre and his wife Silvia of Anthony, NM; Francisco Aguirre and his wife Toni of Garfield, NM; Roberto Aguirre and his wife Susie of Las Cruces, NM; Saul Aguirre and his wife Mary Esther of Arrey, NM and Tony Aguirre of Arrey, NM. Three daughters, Maria Esther Stewart and her husband Chris of Las Cruces, NM; Lilly Requejo and her husband Cecilio of Socorro, NM; and Rita Aguirre of Hatch, NM. Also surviving are two brothers, Manuel Aguirre and Jose Luis Aguirre both of Juarez, MX, and three sisters, Vicenta Aguirre Elizalde of Parral, Chih, MX; Margarita Aguirre Ojeda and Estella Aguirre Ontiveros both of Mexico City, MX. 18 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive him. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister. A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 PM on Sunday, January 7, 2007 at San Isidro Catholic Church in Garfield. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 10 AM on Monday, January 8, 2007 also at San Isidro Catholic Church with Fr. Adrian Carrillo officiating. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow at the Arrey Community Cemetery. Serving, as pallbearers will be Ruben Aguirre Jr., Tony Aguirre, Francisco Aguirre Jr, Christopher Ray Mora, Jose Luis Aguirre, and Roberto Aguirre. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Stewart, Jessie James Sanchez, Manuel Aguirre, Ruben Aguirre Sr., Rene Ramirez Jr, Abraham Pallares, and Rachel Aguirre. PDF Printable Version
