Francisco Rubalcava, 80 of Las Cruces, New Mexico died Saturday June 20, 2009 at his loving family by his side. He was born in San Pablo, California to Thomas and Guadalupe Rubalcava on April 2, 1929. Francisco enjoyed woodworking making different kinds of furniture for the house and family. He also liked to fish and spending time with his grandchildren. As a devoted catholic Francisco always found time to help with the fiesta and many activities at Our Lady of Health Catholic Church. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Petra Rubalcava, daughters Leonor Rubalcava and husband Carlos Sandoval of Las Cruces, NM, Christina and Randy Keller of Marysville, CA, and Cynthia Rubalcava of California, son Thomas Rubalcava of San Francisco, CA, sister Dora Buzo of Calexico, CA, brothers Felipe Rubalcava of Baja California, Mexico, Salvador Rubalcava of Rodeo, CA and grandchildren Carlos, Cesar, and Angel Sandoval of Las Cruces, NM and Corey, Jocelyn Keller of Marysville, CA. A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Wednesday June 24, 2009 at Getz Funeral Home where a Prayer Vigil will follow at 7 PM. The Funeral Liturgy will be held at Our Lady of Health Catholic Church on Thursday June 25, 2009 at 10 AM with Rite of Committal to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. PDF Printable Version
