Frank A. Jaffe Jr., 71, of Las Cruces, died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011. He was born July 12, 1940 in East Weymouth, Massachusetts to Frank and Eileen Jaffe Sr. He was a veteran of the US Army where he served our country honorably with the 82nd Air Born Division during the Vietnam Era. Frank A. Jaffe Jr., 71, of Las Cruces, died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011. He was born July 12, 1940 in East Weymouth, Massachusetts to Frank and Eileen Jaffe Sr. He was a veteran of the US Army where he served our country honorably with the 82nd Air Born Division during the Vietnam Era. He also was a retired Lieutenant with the Dona Ana County Sheriffs Dept with many years of faithful service. Frank was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, a life-member of the V.F.W. Post 10124; he enjoyed music and playing his guitar and was a member of the Latin Jazz Men Band. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 26 years Cruzita Jaffe of the family home; son Frank Jaffe III; daughters Felipa Mendoza and husband Gilbert and Heather Avalos and by his grandchildren Christopher, Daniel, Cruzita, Gilbert Jr., Jazmen and Joshua. Memorial Services to celebrate his life will be at 11 am on Friday, Sept. 2, 2011 at Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor H. Lacy White officiating.
