Obituary for Gale Cipra December 16, 2019 Gale Cipra, age 93, passed away December 14, 2019 in Las Cruces, NM following a short illness. He was born in Ellsworth, Kansas on June 13, 1926. Gale served in the US Navy in WWII. Gale was a retired engineer with Lockheed Martin where he was privileged to work at various locations throughout the United States. His work included contributing to many of the NASA Space Shuttles and various rockets used for space exploration. Upon his retirement, he relocated to New Smyrna Beach, FL until moving to Las Cruces, NM in 2008 to be near his beloved niece, Jody Newberry, during his last years. He is also survived by his two sisters, Luane Willaims of Albuquerque, NM and Donna Curnutt of Tucumcari, NM, a nephew, Alan Willaims of Rio Rancho, NM, a niece, Mona Glass of Oakridge, TN, a great niece Alyssa Madrid of Vandenberg, CA, a great niece Kathryn Newberry of Tucumcari NM, a great nephew Kyel Newberry of Albuquerque, NM and his much loved grand-niece and nephews, Aubrey, Andon and Ezekiel. He will be greatly missed!
