Gene A. Krebs, 57, of Anthony, NM died Saturday, July 8, 2006. He was born December 1, 1948 in Shawnee, OK to Vernon and Dolores Krebs. Gene A. Krebs, 57, of Anthony, NM died Saturday, July 8, 2006. He was born December 1, 1948 in Shawnee, OK to Vernon and Dolores Krebs. Gene was a veteran of the US Army where he served his country honorably during the Vietnam Era, while in service to his country he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal w/3 Bronze Stars, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a self-employed farmer in the Mesilla Valley; he loved the outdoors and riding Motorcycles. Gene will be deeply missed by all his family and friends who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife Bonnie of the family home; sons Jerry A. Krebs and wife Sylvia and Delton R. Krebs and wife Carolyn; daughter Courtney Krebs; mother Dolores Krebs; brother Tim D. Krebs and wife Lorraine and sister Jan Lackey and husband Dewey. He is also survived by his grandchildren Justin, Dean, John, Jeff, Angie and Ayliah; great-granddaughter Zyrah and by many nieces, nephews and cousins. His father Vernon D. Krebs preceded Gene in death. Graveside Services will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, July 13, 2006 at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery with military honors. Officiating will be Tim D. Krebs.
