George R. Donley, 78 of Las Cruces, New Mexico died Monday, September 1, 2008 at Advanced Care Hospital of Southern New Mexico. George was born February 10, 1930 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Martin and Ruth Donley. He was the owner of Donley's Camping Center, and had served in the Army Reserve. George R. Donley, 78 of Las Cruces, New Mexico died Monday, September 1, 2008 at Advanced Care Hospital of Southern New Mexico. George was born February 10, 1930 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Martin and Ruth Donley. He was the owner of Donley's Camping Center, and had served in the Army Reserve. George is survived by his wife of 58 years, Grace of the family home; one sister, Martha Hickman of Tucson, Arizona and two grandchildren, James "Luke" Dakota and Willie Dakota. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lorraine Quist and Mary Donley, and one son Jay Donley. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 PM on Thursday September 4, 2008 at Getz Funeral Home Chapel where the Funeral Service will follow at 2 PM. Officiating will be Rev. Johnny Elliott of Faith Chapel Assembly of God Church. Burial will follow at Groveland Cemetery in Minnetonka, Minnesota.
