Gerald (Jerry) L. Ingersoll, 76 of Las Cruces, NM died Monday, November 24, 2014. He was born to Charles and Helen Ingersoll of St Louis Michigan on June 2, 1938. Jerry proudly served his country both in the United States Marine Corps and United States Air Force, retiring from active duty in August 1981. After retiring from the military, Jerry worked for numerous Aerospace companies as a Facilities Manager traveling throughout the world from Africa to the Middle East. Jerry enjoyed reading books, traveling, tinkering with things, but his greatest love was his family. Jerry is survived by his wife Nora Lape-Ingersoll, son Rick Ingersoll (and Eva), of Wasilla, AK, son Douglas Ingersoll, of St Johns MI, daughter Teresa Hodges (and Terry), of St Johns MI, step-daughter Ester Bisco (and Sam), of Las Vegas NV, step-son Patrick Paulino, of Inarajan GU, step-daughter Diane Wood (and Pat), of Warner Robbins GA, step-son Edward Paulino (and Charlene), of Inarajan GU, step-daughter Francis Crisostimo (and Joey), of Streamwood IL, step-son Francis Paulino (and Colette), of Belle Chasse LA. He is also survived by his brothers Richard, Donald, Robert, Ronald, Gary, James and numerous grand children, great grand children, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial service will be held at Getz Funeral Home, 1410 E. Bowman Ave, Las Cruces, NM on Tuesday December 2, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Full military honors will be scheduled for the summer of 2015 at the Ingersoll Family Reunion. PDF Printable Version
