Gerry L. Morris, our beloved son, brother, father, husband, grandfather and uncle entered Eternal Rest surrounded by his family on July 6, 2012. Gerry was born Feb. 7, 1956 in Las Cruces, NM. He loved to fish, hunt, play chess and his ultimate passion was gold mining. He is survived by his mother Stella Avery; his brother Larry Morris; 3 nephews Larry III, Eric and Shawn; wife Judy Hudman; 4 daughters Brandy Michelle, Leann Yvonne, Tanya Rose and Sara Lynn and by one son Ryan Lee. Gerry is also survived by 7 grandchildren, several aunts and uncles, as well as all of his cousins. He was preceded in death by daughter Brenda Marie, as well as his grandparents, Frank and Mary Villa. At his request cremation will take place and private services will be held at a later date.
