Gloria A. Uzueta, 58, of Las Cruces, died Monday May 22, 2006. She was born on September 27, 1947 in Las Cruces to Marcelino and Alicia Archuleta Estrada. Gloria was retired from WSMR after many years of faithful service. Gloria A. Uzueta, 58, of Las Cruces, died Monday May 22, 2006. She was born on September 27, 1947 in Las Cruces to Marcelino and Alicia Archuleta Estrada. Gloria was retired from WSMR after many years of faithful service. She had also been a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughter Veronica Uzueta of Las Cruces; parents Marcelino and Alicia Estrada of Las Cruces; brother M. Tony Estrada and wife Katy of Austin, TX; sisters Elva Balderrama of Roswell, NM and Marcia Nicolas and husband Will of Stockton, CA; granddaughter Gianna. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive Gloria. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Wednesday May 24, 2006 at Getz Funeral Home where a prayer vigil will follow at 7:00 PM. The funeral mass is at 9:00 AM on Thursday May 25, 2006 at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
