Gloria Anderson Simpson, 82, of Las Cruces, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009. She was born July 4, 1926 in Provo, Utah to Fred and Fawnpella Hansen. She was retired after many years of faithful service from the Federal Government and enjoyed monthly breakfast with members of the National Association Retired Federal Employees. Gloria Anderson Simpson, 82, of Las Cruces, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009. She was born July 4, 1926 in Provo, Utah to Fred and Fawnpella Hansen. She was retired after many years of faithful service from the Federal Government and enjoyed monthly breakfast with members of the National Association Retired Federal Employees. Gloria was also a loyal member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving husband of 14 years Bill Simpson of the family home; sister Boneta Campell; nephews David, Randy, Chris and Glenn all of Utah and by many grand-nephews and nieces. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Monday, March 16, 2009 at Getz Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, Venus Chapel, 3210 Venus St, Las Cruces, NM 88012 with Bishop Jay Robb officiating.
