Guadalupe "Lupe" G. Garcia, 82, of Las Cruces, died Monday, June 20, 2005. She was born April 20, 1923 in Las Cruces to Audencio and Abelina Pena Gamboa. Lupe loved to go to the casinos but most of all spending time with her wonderful family. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. Guadalupe "Lupe" G. Garcia, 82, of Las Cruces, died Monday, June 20, 2005. She was born April 20, 1923 in Las Cruces to Audencio and Abelina Pena Gamboa. Lupe loved to go to the casinos but most of all spending time with her wonderful family. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. She is survive by her son Bob Garcia and wife Guillermina of Phoenix, AZ; daughter Minnie Fierro of Las Cruces; grandchildren Debbie, Paul Jr. and Sam; great-grandchildren Jaime, Diana, Cecilia and Sam Jr. and by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Lupe was preceded in death by her daughter Bertha Lease, grandson Roberto Alvillar, son-in-law Paul Fierro, one brother and two sisters. A prayer vigil will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 24, 2005 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral where a memorial mass will follow at 10:30 AM.
