It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Guadalupe "Lupe" Gutierrez on April 22, 2013, at the age of 73, although she would claim she was 45. Born in Las Cruces to Isaac and Elvira Gutierrez. Lupe will be remembered for her amazing sense of humor, her kindness, and high self-esteem. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Guadalupe "Lupe" Gutierrez on April 22, 2013, at the age of 73, although she would claim she was 45. Born in Las Cruces to Isaac and Elvira Gutierrez. Lupe will be remembered for her amazing sense of humor, her kindness, and high self-esteem. She is survived by her son Arturo Ruvalcaba in Riverside, CA and daughter Elvira Ruvalcaba in Las Cruces, NM, her grandchildren, and great grandchildren also by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends who all truly loved and adored her. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings David Gutierrez, Sammy Gutierrez, Tomas "Tommy" Gutierrez, Adam Gutierrez, and sister Teresa Medina. Any forgotten or incorrect information/family was not done intentionally. May Heaven have a casino, dance floor, and bingo games large enough for her spicy heart! Visitation will be held May 11, 2023, at Getz Funeral Home from 1:30-2:30 p.m. followed by the Rosary Mass. First Visitation
