Hamilton M. Huff, Jr. 81 of Las Cruces, NM died Thursday, April 19, 2007 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born May 31, 1925 in Seattle, Washington to Hamilton and Phyllis Huff. Hamilton had served his country honorably in the US Army earning a Purple Heart Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the European-African-Middle Eastern Service Medal. Hamilton M. Huff, Jr. 81 of Las Cruces, NM died Thursday, April 19, 2007 at Memorial Medical Center. He was born May 31, 1925 in Seattle, Washington to Hamilton and Phyllis Huff. Hamilton had served his country honorably in the US Army earning a Purple Heart Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the European-African-Middle Eastern Service Medal. He had served in Rhineland, Central Europe, the Air Offensive Europe, Northern France, and the invasion at Normandy. He had been a resident of Las Cruces for about the last two and half years coming from Yuma, AZ His career was in the insurance industry. His daughter, Diane Huff of Las Cruces, NM and one brother Jerry Huff of Vancouver, BC, Canada survive Hamilton. His parents preceded him in death. At his request, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at Getz Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Marcus Burr.
