Harland Orville "H.O." Brewer, 96, a longtime resident of Hatch, NM died January 29, 2005. He was born February 10, 1908 in Dodge City, KS to John I. and Ethel Brewer. H.O. retired from the Rail Road after 42 years of service, he was a member of the Lions Club of Hatch, and the Church of God Cemetery Committee. H.O. was very active with the Church of God in Hatch, NM. He is survived by his two daughters Cynthia Conine and husband James and April Biad and husband Louis Jr. all of Las Cruces, NM. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Grant and Brian Watson, Shannon Mizell, Cristan Ismond, Julie Ogaz, Vicky Schneider, Don and Louis Biad, Jovonna Hanlon, and twenty-one great grandchildren. Funeral services will by held at 11:00 AM February 2, 2005 at the Church of God in Hatch, NM. Officiating will be Rev. Jim Wood. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Hatch. Pallbearers will be grandsons Grant and Brian Watson, Don and Louis Biad, great-grandsons, Tony Portillo, and Zach Ogaz.
