Harry Donald "HD" Huband, 33 of Las Cruces died suddenly on Wednesday, June 29, 2016. Harry was born November 28, 1982 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. He was an early talker and once he started, he didn't stop. From a young age, it was clear that Harry's intellect and humor were exceptional. At the age of 3, he singlehandedly fired up a bulldozer by 10 he often drove the lawn mower to Pic Quik; he took apart anything he could find to see how it worked. Harry spent many an hour at the family cabin or out camping - "hatching wood". A physically strong man, Harry was a talented, resourceful, and creative builder. He was a self-taught mechanic who enjoyed fast cars and loved driving. A rock-n-roller at heart, Harry found deep meaning and comfort in music. Harry greatly valued family and above all, he loved his son Max. Harry is survived by son Max Bucher, mother Mary Stages, father Donald Huband, sister Patricia Marie Huband, mother of his son, Sarah Bucher, stepfather Peter Thomas, paternal grandmother Ginger Huband, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Harry was preceded in death by his beloved maternal grandparents Harry and Lois Stages, and his paternal grandfather, Donald Huband Sr. A memorial service will be held at Getz Funeral Home, 1410 E. Bowman Ave., Las Cruces on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 1:00pm.
