Harry James "Jim" Krettecos Jr., 48, of Las Cruces, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007. He was born Sept. 10, 1959 in El Paso, TX to Harry and Mary Agnes Krettecos Sr. Jim was the Manager of the ABC Paint Body Shop and had been an avid outdoorsman who loved going fishing in Mexico with his brother-in-law Ivan and also loved playing golf with his two nephews Paul and Jonathan. Harry James "Jim" Krettecos Jr., 48, of Las Cruces, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007. He was born Sept. 10, 1959 in El Paso, TX to Harry and Mary Agnes Krettecos Sr. Jim was the Manager of the ABC Paint Body Shop and had been an avid outdoorsman who loved going fishing in Mexico with his brother-in-law Ivan and also loved playing golf with his two nephews Paul and Jonathan. He will be deeply missed by all his family and many friends who knew and loved him. He is survived by his mother Mary Agnes Krettecos of the family home; sisters D'Anne Burton and husband Ivan of Las Cruces and Katherine Kelly and husband Earl of San Antonio, TX; aunts and uncles Billy and Flora Garcia, Paul David Garcia, Jiggs Garcia, Martha Jo Chavez and Chris and Nancy Krettecos; nieces and nephews Page Freitag and husband Alex of San Antonio, TX, James Paul Kelly and wife Elizabeth of New Orleans, LA, Paul, Jonathan and Madison Burton all of Las Cruces. Also surviving Jim are many cousins and his lifelong friend Frank Lock of Las Cruces. A prayer vigil will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral. Jim's Memorial Mass to celebrate his life is at 2:00 PM on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007 also at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral with Fr. Michael Cerretto officiating. Jim's cremains will be placed in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Columbarium next to his father Harry Krettecos Sr. who preceded him in death. PDF Printable Version
