Harry Leland Mills of Las Cruces passed away Sunday morning January 21, 2007. He was born July 22, 1921 in Dennison, Texas to John C. and Ruby Crabtree Mills. Harry served in the CCC's before entering the US Army where he served his country honorably during WW II. He was a retired auto mechanic and refrigeration man. Harry Leland Mills of Las Cruces passed away Sunday morning January 21, 2007. He was born July 22, 1921 in Dennison, Texas to John C. and Ruby Crabtree Mills. Harry served in the CCC's before entering the US Army where he served his country honorably during WW II. He was a retired auto mechanic and refrigeration man. Mr. Mills will be deeply missed by all his family and friends who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Lacy, Clyde, Hugh (Tiny) and Billy Mills. Harry is survived by one brother J.C. Mills and sisters Mildred Young, Lucille Dixon, Peggy Gibson and Jean Collingsworth all of Las Cruces. At his request cremation has taken place and a graveside service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. PDF Printable Version
