Heidi Lynette Welch, 33, of Las Cruces, entered to eternal life on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007. She was born in Socorro, NM on Aug. 6, 1974 to Charlie Benjamin and Jeanne Martinez. Heidi was a loving mother, very thoughtful person, wonderful wife, daughter, sister, friend, niece and beautiful person altogether, was fondly called the ROCK for her ability to be patient, being a peacemaker...
Heidi Lynette Welch, 33, of Las Cruces, entered to eternal life on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007. She was born in Socorro, NM on Aug. 6, 1974 to Charlie Benjamin and Jeanne Martinez. Heidi was a loving mother, very thoughtful person, wonderful wife, daughter, sister, friend, niece and beautiful person altogether, was fondly called the ROCK for her ability to be patient, being a peacemaker, problem solver and keeping her family together. Heidi was also a homebody who dearly loved all her family. She enjoyed fairies, snowmen, porcelain dolls, scrap booking, watching movies and was a graduate of Socorro High School and she also received her CNA from the Dona Ana Community College. She will be forever missed by all her family and friends who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband Lance Welch of the family home; children Laci Welch and Dylan Gallegos; parents Charlie Benjamin and his wife Barbara; mother Jeanne Martinez; sister Candi Gonzales and husband Richard. She is also survived by her nephew Brandon Gonzales and niece Shamari Gonzales; maternal grandparents Bob and Ellen Wilburn and paternal grandmother Anita Benjamin and by her extended family the Martinez's and by many other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Heidi was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Si Benjamin and cousin Clint Benjamin. Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be a 2:00 PM on Friday, Dec. 28, 2007 at First Assembly of God with Pastor Charley Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers are Cole and Si Benjamin, Serfin Romero, Larry Chronister, Eric and Ed Asel. PDF Printable Version
