Helen Louise Price, 91, Las Cruces, NM, formerly of Meyersdale, PA, died Sept. 25, 2010, in Las Cruces. Born Jan. 2, 1919, in Thurmont, MD., a daughter of the late Samuel Tilden and Bessie Viola (Late) Van Horn. She is also preceded in death by her husband, William R. Helen Louise Price, 91, Las Cruces, NM, formerly of Meyersdale, PA, died Sept. 25, 2010, in Las Cruces. Born Jan. 2, 1919, in Thurmont, MD., a daughter of the late Samuel Tilden and Bessie Viola (Late) Van Horn. She is also preceded in death by her husband, William R. Price; sister, Doris Jean Wetmiller; and brothers: Robert Leroy Van Horn, Carl Late Van Horn, and Morris Bruce Van Horn. Survived by two children: William R. Price Jr., and his wife Marilyn, Meyersdale; and Donna J. Parish, Las Cruces; five grandchildren: Barbara, wife of Gilbert Mesa, Kenneth W. Ohler, William C. Price, David J. Price, Steven Price and his wife Ami; five great-grandchildren: Emilio Mesa, Evan Mesa, Estevan Mesa, Eric Price and Kyle Price. Louise spent the last 21 years of her life living in Las Cruces. She loved the climate, the people and the beautiful colors on the Organ Mountains at sunset. She felt blessed to have been a part of close family ties during those years. In addition, Louise had the opportunity to meet and make many new friends whom she cherished so much. A visitation will be held at Getz Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010 where a celebration of Louise's life will also be held at 7 p.m. Graveside services will be held the following morning at 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010 at Masonic Cemetery.
