Henry Lee Clements, passed away on November 29, 2023, in Las Cruces. Born to Ruby Ray Clements and Clara Belle Bohanon on September 20, 1946, in Roswell, New Mexico, Henry's life was marked by his dedication to his family and his passion for ranching.

Enlisting in the U.S. Navy in 1963, Henry’s military career was cut short due to a car accident, leading him to discover his true calling in ranching. In 1965 he met the love of his life, Mary Ann. The couple married on August 23, 1965, embarking on a life filled with love and shared adventures.

Henry's love to ranching took his family across Texas and New Mexico, eventually settling in small town Corona, planting his family roots in 1980. Besides ranching, he enjoyed hunting and guiding, particularly chasing mountain lions with his close friend. In 1999, following the sale of the ranch he managed, Henry transitioned to operating his own heavy equipment business until his retirement in 2006. Retirement years were joyfully spent tending to his home, and cherishing moments with his grandchildren. Henry could be found in his backyard tending to his yard and riding on his lawn mower with his cowboy hat.

Henry was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary Ann Clements, his parents, Ruby Ray Clements, and Clara Belle Bohanon, and his brothers, Thomas Bohanon, John Clements, and George Clements.

Henry leaves to cherish in his loving memory, brothers Billy Ray and wife Irene Clements of Austin Texas, and Ted Clements of Vado, New Mexico, his daughter Tina Clements of Melrose, New Mexico;3 granddaughters, Kendra and Cody McCord of Pueblo Colorado, Alondra and Wyatt Seal of Odessa Texas, and Angel Clements of Melrose, New Mexico; 2 great grandchildren, following numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
