Henry Medina, 12, of Las Cruces died December 30, 2004 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center. He Was Born October 4, 1992 in Las Cruces, NM to Arturo Salas and Amparo Medina. Henry fought a great fight for over seven years with a constant smile on his face and making those around him smile. He was a student at Hermosa Heights Elementary, where he loved to do his school work and activities. Besides school Henry loved family cookouts were he could eat chicken and make fun of his twin sisters. He will be missed by all that loved and knew him and our hearts will always be with him. He is survived by his parents Arturo Salas and Amparo Medina, brothers Arturo, Juan, and Angel Medina; sisters, Kyla and Micaela Medina. He is also survived by maternal grandparents Julia and Manuel Medina, Paternal grandparents Juan and Ofelia Salas Uncles Manuel Jr. and wife Evelyn Medina Roger Madina Johnny Garcia and wife Olivia Armando Salas and wife Betty, Juan Salas, and Jesus Salas; aunts Patsy medina and Larry Lara, Liz Medina and Irma and husband Jerry Padilla. A visitation will be held Wednesday January 5, 2005 at Getz Funeral Home from 5-7 PM. A prayer vigil will follow the same evening at 7 PM also at the Getz Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral mass will be at 1 PM Thursday January 6, 2005 at St. Genevieve's Catholic Church. The rite of committal will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. PDF Printable Version
