Herminia Garcia age 90 passed away on January 22, 2018. Minnie was born in Hachita New Mexico. Minnie moved to Las Cruces in 1949 where she met and married William (Memo) Garcia. They had 3 sons Eugene (Geno) and Donald of Las Cruces and William (Billy) of San Diego California. Minnie is survived by her sons, granddaughters Erica and Sarah of San Diego and Tawny of Tacoma Washington. Brother Victor of Abilene Texas and sister Helen Garcia (Danny) of Abilene Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents Miguel and Isabel Villegas, husband Memo, grandson Joshua, brothers Mike, Manuel and Richard. Sisters Anita, Blanca and Lilly. Minnie was a kind, caring and loving person. Kind to people who were fortunate to meet. Cared about people and Loving to her husband, sons and extend family. The family would like to thank Mountain Shadows, Mesilla Valley Home Hospice and Memorial Medical Center for their support, care and effort. A viewing will be held on February 3, 2018 at Getz Funeral Home from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. A funeral service will follow from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Getz Funeral Home. Herminia's wishes were to have cremation take place with a private burial at a later date. First Visitation
