Hershel L. Manning, 89, of Las Cruces died January 29, 2005. He was born May 22, 1915 in Coal Hill, AR To John and Maude Wallis Manning. Mr. Manning will be deeply missed by all his many family and friends who knew and loved him. Hershel L. Manning, 89, of Las Cruces died January 29, 2005. He was born May 22, 1915 in Coal Hill, AR To John and Maude Wallis Manning. Mr. Manning will be deeply missed by all his many family and friends who knew and loved him. He is survived by sons; Hotch Manning and wife Carolyn and Jerry Manning and wife Millie all of Las Cruces, Fred Manning Sr. and wife Denise of Waterloo, Illinois and Michael Manning and wife Sharon of Mt. Zion, Illinois; eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Manning was preceded in death by his loving wife Inez C. Manning a sister Velma Dupree and brothers John and Herman Manning. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 PM Monday January 31, 2005 at Getz Funeral Home. Funeral Services are at 1:30 PM Tuesday February 1, 2005 also at Getz Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons Steven, David, Charles, Kevin, Chad and J.D. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mesilla Valley Hospice, 299 E.
