Hildreth Mary Hutcheson (nee: Osborn) passed away at her home on Friday, August 29, 2008. She was the daughter of Roy and Myrtle Osborn of Bellview and Clovis, New Mexico. She, along with her husband, Radford Hutcheson, was a career missionary of the Home Mission Board (now North American Mission Board) of the Southern Baptist Convention. She was married to Radford Hutcheson, retired director of associational missions for Rio Grande and Southwestern Baptist Associations in New Mexico. She was an accomplished musician and both played and taught piano and organ. Working along with her husband, she encouraged and counseled pastors' wives and families. They served in this capacity for 16 years, retiring December 31, 1991. During the 28 years that her husband was a pastor, she played the piano and/or organ for each of the churches they served. She began playing the piano for the worship services in a small church in Arkansas when she was eight years of age. At one time she accompanied gospel singer Ethel Waters as she sang her signature song, "His Eye is on the Sparrow." She was baptized in a river in Arkansas when she was eight years old and surrendered her life to Christian service at age14, the year she met her future husband. She graduated from high school at Rosedale High School in Bellview, N.M. and, along with her husband, attended Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, N.M. She taught school in Ruidoso, N.M. and Deming, N.M. She had served as a radio announcer for KOTS radio station in Deming. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Ray Osborn, and a daughter, Linda Moyra Hutcheson Dalley. She is survived by her husband of almost 62 years, by two sons, David Hutcheson and his wife Clair of Morenci, AZ and Allan Hutcheson and his wife Dee of Colorado Springs, CO, by a brother, Edward Osborn of Cabot, Arkansas and a sister, Alta Jesko of Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition, she is survived by nine grand children and nine great-grand children. She had a strong Christian faith relying on the words of Jesus Christ who said, "I go to prepare a place for you and₦.I will come again and receive you unto myself that where I am, there you may be also₦.Thomas said unto him,
