Maria Luisa Amesjuita age 83 of Las Cruces, New Mexico passed away in the early morning of June 13, 2016 in El Paso Texas at University Medical Center. Maria Luisa Amesjuita age 83 of Las Cruces, New Mexico passed away in the early morning of June 13, 2016 in El Paso Texas at University Medical Center. The Daughter of Josephine Ramos Delgado Ms. Amesjuita was born August 8, 1932 and spent most of her life in Las Cruces, except for when she lived in O'fallen Mo with the Order of Sisters of Most Precious Blood to become a nun. She moved back to Las Cruces to care for her mother and grandmother. She worked at the USDA and NMSU Agricultural Department. She also worked at Holy Cross Catholic Church until her retirement. She was always looking out for others with a generous heart. She will always be remembered and greatly missed. She is survived by her brother Oscar E. Delgado; her aunt Margarita R. Jerome; Juanita Ramos and Albert and Johny Ramos. Grandnieces Margaret Ann D. Wainscott; Children Cassandra, Ashley, Melissa and Patrick Wainscott; Michelle D. Urciel and children Jennifer, Sean and Austin James. Cousins Olivia Lefever children Roselyn and Lennie Jr. Lefever; Andress Gomez, Hector Victor and Edmundo Gomez, Benjamin Ortiz Jr.
