Isaias "El Guero" Meza, 81, of Las Cruces, NM died Friday April 13, 2007. He was born in Vicente Guerrero Durango, Mexico on July 6, 1925, to Roman and San Juana Meza. In his work as a carpenter Isaias helped build Las Cruces. Isaias "El Guero" Meza, 81, of Las Cruces, NM died Friday April 13, 2007. He was born in Vicente Guerrero Durango, Mexico on July 6, 1925, to Roman and San Juana Meza. In his work as a carpenter Isaias helped build Las Cruces. He helped in the construction of many of the buildings we use today in our community, including the Arroyo Plaza, Mesilla Valley Mall, Burger Time, as well as many homes. Isaias is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years Elena Meza, of Las Cruces, NM, one son, Roman Meza and wife Monica, of Las Cruces, NM, two daughters, Veronica Meza, of Las Cruces, NM, Patricia Bradshaw and Eric, of San Antonio, TX, one brother Salvador Meza, of Juarez, Mexico, two sisters, Aurora Meza, of Michuacan, Mexico, Morelia Meza of Michuacan, Mexico, five grandchildren, Anthony, Eddie, Kelsey, Domonique, Isaiah, as well as many fiends family and loved ones. He was preceded in death by two brothers Dionicio Meza, Gregorio Meza, and one sister Julia Meza. A visitation will be held on Monday April 16, 2007 from 5-7 PM with a prayer vigil to follow at 7 PM. The funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday April 17, 2007, at the Our Lady of Health Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. PDF Printable Version
