Jean McClure Phillips passed away, surrounded by her family, at Mountain View Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, May 31, 2005. She was born on July 22, 1927 in Colbert, Oklahoma to Willie and Evie Goodin. She married J.D. McClure in 1942 and had three children, Sandra, Jerry and Larry. Jean McClure Phillips passed away, surrounded by her family, at Mountain View Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, May 31, 2005. She was born on July 22, 1927 in Colbert, Oklahoma to Willie and Evie Goodin. She married J.D. McClure in 1942 and had three children, Sandra, Jerry and Larry. She worked for numerous years at Sheriff's Truck Stop. She then managed the Holsom Bakery for several years. In 1976, she married Jimmie Phillips. She was a charter member of the East Mesa Baptist Church, and she served for many years as the head of the church phone prayer line. She was a very devoted mother, a granny to everyone, and a great granny to many. She is survived by her son, Larry McClure (Debbie), of Logan NM, daughter in law, Jan McClure (Jerry) of Las Cruces, NM; Stepdaughters, Carla Enriquez (Dan) of Phoenix, AZ, and Titine Patterson of Verness, FL. Her beloved grandchildren, Rory Brannon of Las Vegas, NV, Sherry Dermine (Chris) of Las Cruces, NM, Shawna Reams of San Diego, CA, John McClure (Patty), Jason McClure (Michelle), Jamie and Jocelyn McClure, Travis, Eric, and Clay McClure, Jessica, Sheila, Rachel and Kevin Enriquez, Jimmy and Justin Patterson all of Las Cruces, NM. Nine great grandchildren, with a new great and a great - great on the way. Two brothers, Billie and Ray Goodin, both of Las Cruces, NM and one sister Pat Cowley of Cheyenne, WY, also survive her.
