John R. Mack, 91, of Las Cruces died Friday, December 26, 2014. He was born on January 5, 1923 in Philadelphia, PA to John Maconochie and Katherine O'Neill. John was a veteran of the Army Air Corps and he served his country honorably during WWII and was a retired salesman. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him. John R. Mack, 91, of Las Cruces died Friday, December 26, 2014. He was born on January 5, 1923 in Philadelphia, PA to John Maconochie and Katherine O'Neill. John was a veteran of the Army Air Corps and he served his country honorably during WWII and was a retired salesman. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him. John was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Adele. His is survived by his son Jack Mack of Santa Fe, NM; daughter Sharon Moyer of Albuquerque, NM; granddaughter Sherri Vance and husband Brett, and great grandchildren Logan and Abigail Vance. The family wishes to thank friends Juanita Beasley, Harold and Margie Beeson, and all of his friends and the staff at La Posada, Mesilla Valley Hospice. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial of cremains will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
