Jose Luis Granados, 40 years old of Hatch, New Mexico died Thursday, December 15, 2005 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. He was born November 19, 1965 in Anahuac, Chihuahua, Mexico to Ramon and Consuelo Granados. He had lived in the Hatch area for several years, was a mechanic and a member of Our Lord of Mercy Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife Cecelia of the family home, one son Jose Luis Ganados, Jr.; one daughter Claudia Granados; his parents, Ramon and Consuelo Granados; four brothers, Armando, Ramon, Pedro, and Javier Granados; two sisters Margarita and Aurelia Granados. Also surviving him is his mother in law, Imelda Espinoza Giron. A brother Efren preceded him in death. A visitation will be from 5 to 6 PM on Monday, December 19, 2005 at Our Lord of Mercy Catholic Church in Hatch, where the Prayer Vigil will follow at 6 PM. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 20, 2005 also at Our Lord of Mercy Catholic Church in Hatch. Officiating will be Fr. Enrique Lopez Escalera. Cremation will follow.
