Joseph Esdram Duclos, 82 of Las Cruces died December 6, 2014. Joseph was born to Esdram Duclos and Alfretta Griggs on January 28, 1932 in Bristol, Vermont. He resided in the Las Cruces area for about the last 20 years of his life and moved here from Riverside, California. Joseph Esdram Duclos, 82 of Las Cruces died December 6, 2014. Joseph was born to Esdram Duclos and Alfretta Griggs on January 28, 1932 in Bristol, Vermont. He resided in the Las Cruces area for about the last 20 years of his life and moved here from Riverside, California. Joseph was a patriotic man and was proud of his service to his country, he enlisted in the United States Army in November of 1950 and was honorably discharged with the prestige of an airborne qualified soldier. He served during the Korean War and almost two years of his honorable service was in Italy. Joseph enjoyed many things to include the great outdoors near water, fishing, camping, gardening and traveling. Most of all Joseph cherished his spouse Norma Barnes, their children and his dogs. Joseph had little fears but as family recalls his one true fear was a snake of any type. Joseph was known for his fondness of pizza, lasagna and a nice cold Budweiser. Joseph was always a desired employee because of his expertise as a cable technician and afforded many with assistance across the country while working in the communications industry. Joseph is preceded in death by his parents and sister Marjorie F. He is survived by his loving wife Norma, sisters Gladys Cook of Heinsburg, Vermont and Theresa Pickering of Bangor Maine. He is also survived by his children; Joann Matz and Michael Duclos of Riverside, California and Lorraine Page in Carthage, Missouri. Joseph is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A private Memorial Service is being held at a later date by the family.
